Transfer Course Equivalencies at the University of Delaware

The Undergraduate Transfer Credit Matrix shows:
  • How courses transfer as of today - Matrix entries can change at any time, as course content changes at UD & other schools. Use the Matrix as a guide, not a guarantee.
  • Schools UD has already evaluated - If your school isn't listed, email the name/address/website to transfercredit@udel.edu. We'll research if it meets UD's requirements, then email you to confirm.
  • Courses UD has already evaluated - If your course isn't listed, it hasn't yet been reviewed. Choose the best academic department to match your course, then follow these instructions to send the syllabus to that department.
If you see:
  • INTL-US or INTL-SA - The course is taught outside the U.S.
  • A row listing more than one course on the left - You must take both/all to earn the UD course(s) approved on the right. The combination of courses is required.
If you took a course:
  • 7 or more years ago - It will initially transfer as elective credit, not what you see in the Matrix. Ask your school for a syllabus from the year that you took the course. Choose the best academic department to match your course, then follow these instructions to send the syllabus to that department.
  • As part of a completed Articulation Agreement - You'll receive the UD courses in the Agreement, which may differ from the Matrix. Check your agreement to see how your courses will transfer.
